Oh, Brother...

I know, I know...it's weird for me to have more than one post in even a week, much less within two days.  Even though we haven't officially announced our wedding party, it's no big secret that Anthony's older brother, Andrew is going to be his best man.  This morning, we took him to the airport & saw him for the last time for what will probably be around 9 months.  He's headed to Italy (Florence) to be an aú pair for a little 5-year-old boy & his family. 

I have been incredibly lucky with the Camps in the fact that I am gaining two amazing brothers in marrying Anthony.  For most of my life, I have grown up as an only child.  I have a half-brother, Trevor, but we both live with our moms & are 7 years apart, so we've never gotten to spend a whole lot of time together.  My future brothers Andrew & Mitchell have been nothing but supportive of our relationship from the beginning & have welcomed me into their family as one of them.  No matter some of the negative reactions (especially close to home) that may have come because of our engagement...we're not old enough, haven't been together long enough, don't know each other well enough, or D. all of the above...these two have always been on our side from the beginning & have continued to be happy for us & supportive since we got engaged.  Sometimes we even joke about Mitchell moving in with us after we get married or at least having his own room at our house :)

At first I was more frustrated than anything because of the extra wedding stress this will probably cause me at some point or another, but I was a lot sadder than I expected as we left the security check entrance this morning.  On the ride home, Anthony, Mitchell & I got to talking about all of the things that Andrew will miss over the next 9 months (quietly, so that Mrs. Camp didn't have to hear) & were all really getting depressed about it.  I am hoping that one good thing will come out of it though...I'm trying desperately to get everyone on board to try & convince Mr. Camp to let them get a puppy for the house to cheer everyone up!  Believe me when I say that everyone can't wait for Andrew to come home!!  I am seriously going to miss you, big brother!
